Did you feel the Shift? Energy check-in.

I wanted to check in and see how you're feeling after that HUGE energy activation we had over the weekend. The Sun and Pluto Conjunction at 29° Capricorn on Friday, Jan 19th, and at 0° Aquarius on Saturday, Jan 20th felt intense for many of us. If you read my latest email or caught my most recent post on social, I outlined some of my thoughts on what I believe was one of the most potent Planetary Activations of 2024. I heard from many of you over the weekend, sharing how strongly you were feeling the energy, and I was glad to know I wasn't alone. <3 

Some of you said it felt like a Full Moon, and I loved that way of describing it. Anytime we have a connection between planets during a transit—such as two major planets coming together in Conjunction (like we did with the Sun and Pluto) or exactly Opposing one another (like we do with the Sun and Moon during a Full Moon), there's a noticeable energetic sensation that we can feel in our bodies for a couple of days before/after the exact transit. I like to think of it as a wave of energy that is slowly, but surely building to a crest—peak energy activation—and then falling to a trough, as the intensity begins to dissipate.

During the build-up and peak, you might feel extra moody, experience tension in your body, receive flashes of clarity (aha! moments), or just feel a nagging sense of needing to take action on something. This is your body's way of communicating with you that there's energy that wants to be moved or released in some way. You might need an extra physical outlet during this time, or perhaps there's a conversation or something you've been putting off that needs to be addressed. Think of it as your body's way of helping you work with the energy as it's being activated by the transit. Once the energy begins to dissipate, you might feel extra tired, drained, or feel that you want to detox your body in some way. Epsom salt baths, massage, cupping, and carving out extra time for rest, are some of my favorite ways to restore my body after a big surge of energy moves through. With this particular activation involving Pluto—conjunct to the Sun AND moving from one Zodiac sign to another—it unearthed dense, shadowy material and brought it to light, and may have felt extra heavy in your energetic field. I felt it Big Time. Just know, the intensity will pass. Try to ride the wave and do whatever you can to move the energy along while caring for yourself.

Another person asked me, “Is January 20th really going to change my life?!” The short answer is: Yes and No. The Sun and Pluto entered Aquarius on Jan 20th and that was indeed a big day for some people (I heard from one of you who even got engaged - what a way to kick-start the Aquarius Era!), while others didn't notice any major shifts…yet. Generally speaking, this transit ignited a 20-year cycle that will begin unfolding in the coming days, weeks, and months, as Pluto slowly begins to travel through Aquarius. But, he still has one final retrograde back to the last degree of Capricorn this fall before he moves into Aquarius for good, where he'll be until 2043. So, think of 2024 as the set-up period for Pluto. Having Planets or Points in the late degrees of Capricorn (27-29°) and early degrees of Aquarius (0-2°), means you've likely already been picking up on this energy for a while, and will continue to feel it strongly most of 2024, as he is re-tracing the territory of those degree points during his retrograde.
