Chiron's energy is about turning our pain, wounds, and vulnerabilities into healing and growth—in a way that benefits ourselves and others. Chiron retrograde can also bring up all our past insecurities—from childhood and even past lives—making us face where we feel inadequate. But the retrograde also offers a potent time for healing, helping us get to the root of our suffering, to finally make peace with and accept ourselves, as we are, wounds and all. The Sun, moving through its final degrees of intuitive Cancer, will enter fiery Leo next week, officially kicking off Leo season! But before that, we have a Full Moon in Capricorn on Sunday, July 21st, at 3:17 AM PST, at the critical 29th degree of Capricorn, opposite the Sun at 29 degrees of Cancer.

This Full Moon at the final degree of Capricorn, brings a sense of urgency and a turning point. Pluto, the planet of transformation, is sitting less than a degree away at 0 degrees of Aquarius, intensifying this Full Moon. This brings up the shadow, the taboo, and the fears we might be facing, with an intense CTA towards transforming ourselves so that we can energetically align with our evolutionary future. No pressure. 

This can feel like a time when we are being pushed into change. If you've been holding yourself back in one or more areas of your life, this might be the energy that “pops” you into a new timeline…ready or not! This Mars: Uranus conjunction is likely to shake things up in whatever house (area of life) you have Taurus in your birth chart. And because Venus is the planetary ruler of Taurus, and will be moving through Leo during this conjunction, coming out of its opposition with Pluto, it will surely add extra flair to the story. 

Today marks the Summer Solstice and official kick-off of summer season! We are also approaching a Full Moon at 1 degree of Capricorn, peaking tomorrow, June 21st, just after 6PM PST. This is the first of two Full Moons in Capricorn, with the second one a month later, on July 21st. A rare and pivotal energy portal, right off the heels of the Solstice!

The Cancer:Capricorn axis on the Zodiac wheel is about our personal life vs professional life. Our private world—home, family, and intimate relationships vs who we are out in the external world—our public image, reputation, work, and achievements. The Opposition between inner and outer can feel taxing at this time. We likely have pressing responsibilities on both fronts, and it can be hard to juggle where our attention should go.

Venus, planet of relationships, money, and beauty, and Mercury, planet of communication, thoughts, and logic, form tense aspects to Neptune in Pisces at the 29th degree point. Neptune is the planet that represents dreams, fantasies, creativity, spirituality, intuition, and universal love. The shadow side of Neptune is confusion, delusion, seeing things with rose colored glasses, and escapism to avoid the harsh realities of life.

Today's New Moon in Gemini peaked early this morning at 5:38 AM PST, and marks a potent time of both planting new seeds, while also being held accountable for seeds planted in the recent past. The Gemini New Moon features a conjunction with Venus and a square to Saturn in Pisces, so we can assume love, money, boundaries, and karma is part of the story.

It's pretty darn magical (and rare!) to have a New Moon conjunct Venus, but the 90 degree square to Saturn that's building (exact over the weekend…) brings up tension, delays, consequences, and perhaps a sobering reality check into the mix. Buzzkill. But, it also presents an opportunity for an important check-in…
